Now that we've gotten the kids off to school you know the league games are coming up quickly. (Again, my apologies if I've left you off the email. It was not intentional. I bet I get it right by the start of basketball.)
Parents are the lifeblood of Burlington Catholic Athletics. Sure, it seems at times we ask for a lot of that blood... however, we are now signing up for volunteer shifts during the games hosted at both gyms. We held off on signups until all the grades have completed the team splits so you can coordinate with your game schedule. My thanks to Tracy Mann who has made this super simple via a web-based app. You can sign up for a shift (door, concessions, scoreboard, etc) on the Volleyball tab at www.burlingtoncatholic.org or by following the link http://signup.com/go/
If you want to learn how to score for volleyball, please come to the Athletic Board meeting, Thurs. 9/14 at 6:30pm in Andre Hall (adjoins the St. Charles gym).
We need two parent shifts for each athlete, not for each family. I have confidence we can fill all available shifts without having to resort to assigning shifts or sitting players. So, yeah, it IS voluntary AND compulsory. THANK you in advance, and as always, give me a shout if there are questions.
